Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 14, 2026

At Viby.bio ("we", "us", or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our platform and use our services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you create an account and build your profile:

  • Account Information: Your username, email address, and encrypted password.
  • Profile Content: Any information you choose to display on your Viby page, including social media links, bio, hobbies, zodiac signs, personal traits, and public cryptocurrency wallet addresses.
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device information, and usage patterns collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Analytics: Anonymous data regarding page views and link click rates to help you understand your profile's performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain your personalized digital identity page.
  • To improve and personalize your experience on the platform.
  • To monitor and analyze usage trends and preferences.
  • To prevent fraudulent activity and ensure the technical security of our services.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Viby.bio does not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Your Consent: By setting a profile field to "Active," you are intentionally making that information public to anyone who visits your link.
  • Legal Obligations: If required by law, we may disclose your information to comply with legal processes or governmental requests.
  • Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers who assist us in hosting (Cloud providers) and platform analytics.

4. User Control and Rights

You have total control over your digital footprint:

  • Granular Control: You can toggle any "Badge" or information field on or off at any time through your dashboard.
  • Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all data not required to be kept by law will be permanently removed from our active servers.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Advertising

Free Viby.bio pages carry advertising; Premium pages do not.

  • Google as a third-party vendor: we use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites.
  • Consent first: advertising is loaded only after you agree. If you decline in our cookie banner — or in the Google privacy message shown to visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — no advertising cookies are set, and you can change your decision at any time.
  • Opting out: you can turn off personalised advertising at any time at adssettings.google.com or through www.aboutads.info.
  • What we never share: your email address, password and account details are never passed to advertisers.

7. Analytics and Session Recording

Alongside advertising, we work with three providers to understand how the platform is used:

  • Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads tag: page views, traffic sources and sign-up conversions. They load on every page with Google Consent Mode set to denied, so no analytics or advertising identifiers are stored until you accept them in our cookie banner.
  • Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session recordings — your mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and the pages you open, recorded against a Clarity cookie identifier. We never attach your name or email address to a recording.
  • Meta (Facebook) pixel and Conversions API: measures whether an advertisement led to a sign-up. The Conversions API runs on our servers rather than in your browser: when you create an account or publish your page, it sends Meta an irreversibly hashed form of your email address together with your IP address, your browser's user agent and Meta's own advertising cookie identifiers.

Consent depends on where you are. If you visit us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Clarity and both Meta pipelines stay switched off until you accept in our cookie banner, and declining keeps them off. Everywhere else they run unless you decline — which you can do at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, and your decision applies from that moment on. Google Analytics waits for your consent everywhere.
