- 2Pick an image — JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF up to 5 MB.
- 3We crop it to a square and optimise it automatically.

Prefer not to show your face? Open the Avatar card and design a character instead: skin tone, eyes, hair and hair colour, beard, expression, body and clothing colours, background. Turn on “use as photo” and the character replaces your photo everywhere.
When a character is used, the demographic fields it sets (gender, relationship, height, birthday) do not count towards your profile-completeness ticks — only values you type yourself do.
